In 1998 Jeff Grolig opened the River Falls Seafood Company with a vision of providing Potomac with the finest quality, fresh seafood and house made prepared foods.

After 15 years as the Corporate Seafood Buyer for Sutton Place Gourmet, Grolig brought his expertise to the residents of Potomac. The business quickly grew and in 2003 the establishment expanded to double its size and become the River Falls Market providing fresh seafood, meats, prepared foods, and beer and wine. Grolig was able to attract culinary experts from his vast connections within the food industry. In 2006 River Falls Market purchased the well-established Renato’s restaurant located next door. The River Falls Market team provides the very freshest fish, meats and seasonal produce to embellish the existing menu and quality of food at Renato’s.

The River Falls Market and Renato’s at River Falls have received positive accolades within the local and national media.
